'Minutemen' to push Congress
Perhaps Washington is forgetting the premise on which the US was founded, WE, THE PEOPLE are the government, not the folks setting on their butts in DC. They are OUR employees, and we expect them to do their jobs. Protecting the security of our borders would seem to be one of the "biggies". If we have no borders, if friend and foe can cross at will, why have an immigration service? Why have a customs department? Why even have ports of entry? Just fling open our doors and allow ourselves to be mobbed. No, wait, that's right, we are the most evil country on the planet, no one would even come! How silly of me, of course we are safe!
