Dean Says Democrats Will Make Schiavo Case an Election Issue

The Dems next attack on "One Nation Under God".

Dean: "The issue is: Are we going to live in a theocracy where the highest powers tell us what to do? Or are we going to be allowed to consult our own high powers when we make very difficult decisions?"

Just what high power is Howard going to ask?? Of course moral issues are at stake with the Schiavo case. In fact, I was against keeping the feeding tube in - I believe she was dead, her body simply did not know it. But, does this one event mean Howard is promoting the idea that Senate leaders should not, in any way, take their moral and religious beliefs into account? What should guide a persons decisions? What higher power is Howard going to ask? The courts?

Please Howard, make this an issue. It shows just how disconnected the Democrats have become from America and how clueless they remain!
