The filibuster has become the weapon of choice in dealing with President Bush's judicial nominees to the appeals court. The first time in history this approach has been used. And, it seems this is simply the warmup round. The real target will be his nominations for the Supreme Court. It is here that liberals can enact those policies that the majority of Americans will not enact at the ballot box. It is time for the Republicans to take off the gloves and get the President's nominees voted on. Time is short, get your job done.
