Florida With Rain - More funny business in the Washington governor's race. Will there be a new election this year?
The next time you hear a Democrat complain about election fraud, point them to this disgraceful story of the Govenor's election in Washington state. It's quite an eye opener.

Shouldn't part of our education of our young be to teach them patriotism and honor for the soldiers that guarantee our freedoms remain intact? This school system has totally lost sight of what is important in our country.

The gate of Hell - the world has forgotten
Watching the rise of violence against Jews, it is apparent that the world has forgotten the unforgettable. This was the truth 60 years ago. We could easily see a repeat within the lifetime of our children.

This is good news. The perversion of the use of the filibuster is not good for either party and needs to be stopped, now.

Mexico's Impeachment
With a flood of illegals coming to the US every day, a politically unstable Mexico will do nothing to remedy this problem. And, with the movement towards a more socialistic and authoritarian rule, the prospects of their economy gaining ground continues to dim. This election will be almost as important to the US and our next presidential election.

She's still 'Hanoi Jane'
She's still 'Hanoi Jane'
Hanoi Jane fills all the definitions of "traitor" that I can think of. The actions of this woman were disgraceful. The fact that she was not prosecuted is a slap on the face to all former POWs and Vietnam veterans. She still turns my stomach.

Religion is one small part of why the Democrats are in such disarray. Their primary focal point this past election was simply "I hate Bush". In the next election, there will be no single person to hate, but an entire party. That will be a harder sell. This will force them to actually construct a platform with real ideas. If they fail to either construct the platform or to assemble a reasonable list of ideas to more the country is a solid direction, they will, once again, be pounded into the ground. The 2006 election cycle should give us a pretty good window into the 2008 election. Honestly, I do not think they have learned anything, but time will tell.

The EU continues to hide its head in the sand on so many issues. Their house needs some order, and quickly or the entire balance of power will shift far eastward, a development that will be good for no one.

A candid "before" and "after" interview that recounts education under Saddam vs. education today. It must have been painful for the Guardian reporter to hear that things are better today.

Things are about to get interesting at the U.N. This is an organization at the edge of the cliff. Personally, I believe it is time to close the doors but on the off chance there is the possibility it can be revived, it sounds as though John Bolton is the man for the job. Koffi must be furious that President Bush would send such an outspoken critic of this little band of theives; it should be fun to watch.

Is Europe still on America's side?
An excellent discussion of the state of the US and European relationship today. Has it become so important that the US must be "balanced" by some other power that they are willing to risk the security of the world?

How can it be, that in a nation founded on religious FREEDOM, that the discussion and criticism of Islam is suddenly under attack. Christians are vilified and attached continuously. Yet, now we find that any discussion or condemnation of Islam is not permitted? Folks, we need to stand up here and let the world know that freedom means FREEDOM, epically freedom of thought and ideas. This is a VERY DANGEROUS cliff to walk up to.

Judge Dread-A showdown over the U.S. judiciary was a long time coming.
Judge Dread
The battle to rein in the Judiciary is obviously "on". I view it as the single most important task of the Republican led congress and without a doubt it will be their hardest task as well.

The Palestinians, along with any number of Arab nations in the Mid East have but a single goal, to drive the Israelis into the sea. The first demand, on the part of Israel, for any withdrawal, any concession, any negotiation should the public acknowledgement on the part of the Palestinians that Israel is a valid state and has the right to exist. Period. Any resistance to this should be met by a stiffening of Israel's position. Concessions, until public recognition of these two principals are met, is futile and dangerous.

I can not, on any level, see the wisdom in granting amnesty for illegal aliens. It sends so many bad signals, not the least of which is that the risks of coming to the US illegally are worth it. Surly the good Senator can see this, can't he?

China would only be a threat if their method of government and the treatment of their people would say to the world "you do not want these people to dominate the globe." Well, do ya? Want these people to dominate the globe?

I am glad to see more and more state advance the rights of citizen to care a weapon. Trained, licensed and responsible citizens have the constitutional right to bare arms and the moral right to defend themselves and their families.
